As lockdown is easing many businesses and offices are preparing to return staff to work from the middle of June, but one
excellent piece of advice is to not bring back all your staff in one go! Ideally your business should plan to bring back staff in
shifts and stagger their return with staff in key roles being asked to return first – the goal being to keep any initial health risks
for staff to the minimum.

Although Facilities teams will be one of the first required in the office to help with health and safety aspects, IT teams and
service desks will be required as soon as possible, as they will be needed to set up desks and equipment for returning staff
and ensure it is set up and sanitised ready for use.

Many businesses may decide to completely change the layout of their offices when lockdown is eased, with some staff
working primarily from home, and more floor space being given to staff that return to the office. This is where we as a
Managed Service Provider can help with office set-up and desk moves.

We can work with businesses to provide:
• Floor planning;
• Desktop assessment for each user;
• Floor walking, before and after the move;
• Establishment of network connectivity and access before each move is signed off.

We can also advise you on what technology you need for your new office set up/seat move, source and purchase any
equipment needed and set-up, configure and test IT equipment.

For your business this will provide you with expert management of these office changes, without you needing permanent
employees with these skills, helping you through the big return to work project.
